Effective solutions through professional planning and visualization
One of the most recent tasks for a long-standing customer - Sealed Air Hungary Kft - was:
Upgrade its exhaust system to adapt it for a higher production level.
A small-particle material like the cornstarch powder to be exhausted here is a major challenge even for professional plant planners and engineers, because it is not only extremely fine-grained, but also explosive. Both the production line and the extraction system must be specially designed for these special requirements, taking into account all aspects and dust characteristics.
3D scanning
IMEX Filtertechnika Kft. undertook the redesign and planning of the technical filtration and exhaust system for this project. For this purpose, the entire area of the plant was measured by means of 3D scanning. The 3D scan of the hall with the resulting collision analysis enabled millimeter-precise planning and visualization for the positioning of the exhaust system and the piping routes. The local conditions in the existing production hall and the machines were fully taken into account. These results convinced our customer and the production lines were safely put back into operation within a short time after the installation of the extraction systems.
