RapidSlider from FabricAir
FabricAir, our long-time and preferred partner in the field of textile air distribution systems, has recently presented a new feature that can save time and also money when installing its fabric ducting systems. The RapidSlider is a specially developed system of keder, rail and special feeder that makes it possible to quickly and easily connect a fabric element to a frame. With the help of plastic beads, the keder is slid into a rail that resembles a zipper. The sliding function in combination with the specially designed FabricAir feeder thus enables faster and more efficient assembly of many types of textile air ducts.
Faster assembly of the fabric ducts!
The installation process for RapidSlider keder is incredibly simple. The specially designed feeder allows installers to slide the duct smoothly and quickly through T-rail or H-rail suspension systems. The RapidSlider is compatible with Type 03, Type 06, Type 07, Type 08, Type 11A and Type 13 suspension systems. In most cases, the lightweight and flexible design of the keder allows it to hang unsupported from the suspension during installation, reducing the need for additional equipment or labor. For smaller diameter ducts, the RapidSlider can even be installed by one person alone. This eliminates the need for additional help during installation, which reduces labor costs and increases efficiency.
Seamless, shapely aesthetics
An added benefit of the new RapidSlider system is a shapely design and thus improved aesthetics of the fabric ducts in the room. The keder ensures that the duct stays close to the track, giving a smooth and uninterrupted appearance without the need for other hangers such as ropes, clamps or clips. The silver-colored elements of the RapidSlider perfectly match the suspension rails and provide a uniform overall appearance. Another advantage is the even weight distribution over the entire length of the textile duct, which prevents unsightly wrinkles.
