Cartridge filter elements

Our range includes all common models and applications in the industry. Membrane filter cartridges in various media and specifications for the removal of particulate and microbial contaminants, or pleated filter cartridges with extremely enlarged filter surface for increased storage capacity and higher flow rates. Also depth filter cartridges, resin bonded and non-resin bonded, with exceptional particle removal efficiency. IMEX has the right cartridge filter elements for your housings, even in the most demanding applications.

Bag filter elements

Filter bags and elements can be made of different materials like polypropylene, polyester or nylon for standard applications. Applications requiring higher chemical compatibility or temperature, i.e. deviating from the standard, can be covered with nylon, PTFE or stainless steel bags.
Nowadays, according to the latest technology, the market also already offers bag filters with higher separation efficiency. The bags have the typical bag design, but can have several layers and achieve a separation efficiency of up to 99.9%.
In order to multiply the filter area in addition to the efficiency, it is possible to use so-called "IMEX bag filter retrofits" in the same housing. These are characterized by a high efficiency with a multiple of the filter area.

Gas filter elements

Clean, aerosol-free gas is critical to equipment reliability - in the refining and chemical industries especially, but of course in many other areas as well. Advanced filter elements for liquid/gas coalescers provide highly efficient removal of liquids and solids from contaminated gases, reducing maintenance and operating costs. Our attention is focused on steam filtration and the separation of particles from technically demanding applications at high temperatures and in aggressive media.

Coalescer elements

Coalescing filters are usually used for the fine-rod separation of droplets. Coalescing filter elements consist of at least two layers that perform different functions. The layers separate solids and aerosols that may be present in the gas, liquid or oil stream.

In the filter medium, e.g. a fleece or metal mesh, the small liquid droplets join together to form larger droplets (coalescence = flowing together) and can thus be separated more easily. The separated liquid can be collected and reused or stored as required.
